Business Appreciation Breakfast

WAYNESBORO – In recognition of the statewide Business Appreciation Celebration, The Greater Augusta Regional Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Staunton, Augusta County and Waynesboro is pleased to announce that the annual Economic Development Business at Breakfast meeting is once again being offered at no charge to Chamber and non-Chamber members and businesses located in the area.
Area businesses play a critical role in strengthening our community by creating employment, adding investment, and employing a diverse workforce in a wide variety of industries including advanced manufacturing, energy, life science, tourism, agribusiness and information technology.  More than 9,600 businesses in the metro area provide over 51,000 jobs to our citizens.

The three economic development offices are partnering with the Chamber to provide the breakfast as a small token of appreciation to our business community.  In addition, the Holiday Inn and Conference Center, Greater Augusta Association of Realtors, Shenandoah Valley Partnership, First Bank, First Bank & Trust, Heinz ProAV, Shenandoah Valley Regional Airport, McKee Foods and Dominion Energy are sponsoring the event.

The breakfast is being held at the Holiday Inn Staunton Conference Center, 152 Fairway Lane, on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 from 8:00-10:00 a.m.  While the event is free, registration is required and space is limited.  To register, visit the Chamber website at www.augustava.com.

The event will feature an economic update for the metro area and the announcement of the 2017 Dennis Burnett Community Excellence Awards.
